Petes Park Place Tavern Restaurant in Bronxville

We ordered 5 burgers at 12:30 on Father’s Day to pick up. We assumed that it would be busy. When got there, quite the opposite, there was barely anyone in there. Not all 5 burger were medium, only 2 were. 3 were supposed to be well done, and they were raw. Not rare......raw.....Showing that they rushed, and that the grill was too hot. Or maybe they were training new cooks, who knows. Regardless, not the best way to spend your Father’s Day picking food up from a place he usually loves.

Great place for burgers and such. Mondays they have .25 cent wings, though they come in orders of 10 at a time. I had the wings, good stuff, the "Disco Fries" was an added treat, they give you plenty. Service could have been a bit better, I would still recommend it.

I've been 4 times in the last month. Delicious wraps and salads. Burger is good as well. Great atmosphere! Friendly young hardworking professional waitstaff. Good wings although not covered enough with buffalo sauce, but that was easily fixable. Classy tavern.

Pete's has a great community atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive. The menu is solid and reliable. It is great for families and children enjoy it. I love the salads.

Food was very good and the prices were great. I had a Red Bean, Tomato and Kale soup that was fantastic along with Cajun Chicken Wrap and fries. The food was really good, the staff was very polite and attentive. Tuesday nights kids 10 and under eat for free... Nice spot...

This place is an awesome place.I go here all the time, I love the Bronxville Salad. There wings are very good as well too. I would recommend going here if you are looking for a good bite to eat in Bronxville.

Food is great feels like home cooking. The atmosphere is welcoming. The service is fast.

Pete's has generous portions and a great staff. The food is delicious and comes out fairly quickly. They have an awesome chili and a chicken parmesan sandwich.

I eat here regularly and it's always good food, and service plus a nice beer selection. It can get busy around lunch time but for good reason. Outdoor seating available on nice days and parking (metered) is pretty easy but make sure the meter doesn't expire as Bronxville is very quick to ticket.

Fantastic Burgers! Really juicy! Seating may take a couple of minutes on a busy night, but drinks are available at the bar while you wait.TVs visible from dining area if you want to watch a game while you eat. Booth seating available. Unisex bathrooms, super clean and spacious with hand dryer and paper towel option.

Good burger and sandwich selection. Salad options are nice. Tacos are good too but a bit of small dish. Have good variety for their tap beers.

So disappointed- one of my favorite places is no longer accommodating their customers. I asked for a simple change of breaded chicken instead of grilled chicken on a taco and was told “no substitutions”. I have been a long time customer (since before the current owner), the staff is great and the food is good. What a shame!

Food and service was great.

Pete's Place replaced an equally-loved older place of the same name. A bit more upscale, the food is very good. The staff is attentive and friendly. A very comfortable spot centrally-located in a great village.

This place has a great vibe. The hot coffee burger is a must!

Excellent service does the a lot of heavy lifting for these 4 stars. The doneness of my burger was great (medium rare). But I cannot comprehend why they use English muffins for the buns. An English muffin is best toasted and crispy; a burger bun is best soft and pillowy--exact opposites.

This is my go-to bar in Bronxville. Happy hour 4:30-5:30 is $3 beers which you can’t beat. The burgers are outstanding. I haven’t ever experienced any bad service, in fact the bartenders have been very friendly. They have live music about once a week. Recently they expanded to include a back room which looks like a cross between a library and a map room. Would be ideal for a party or whisky tasting!

We didn't feel welcome here by our server, Robyn. On food side, our "large" order of Buffalo wings were overcooked, our blue cheese dipping were a little watery. Our friend recommended Pete's burger and it was disappointed. My patty came out undercooked and sauce was tastes funny with half burned toasted English muffins. One good dish we had was garlic mozzarella bread. Perfectly toasted and perfect balance between garlic, butter and cheese. Final thought, we will not coming back.

The chicken tacos are delicious!!!! And the calamari appetizer too.

They have some great burgers and a fine selection of draft brews. It can be hard to get a table at times but it’s generally worth the wait.
